Position: Help Desk Support Analyst

Terms: W2 (with or without benefits)
Duration: ongoing as long as performance measures are meet
Rate:  open to market conditions

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This position will be 100% phone support work.
  • Accurately identify, prioritize, categorize and log calls.
  • Diagnose problems by asking accurate, concise questions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reset network passwords
  • Resolve print queue problems
  • Manage crisis escalation and transfer calls to other support group as appropriate, assist in projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Good analytical and communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with our client.
  • Ability to translate technical terms into non-technical language.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced changing environment

At least 1 year of the following:

  • Must have prior phone support experience.
  • Lotus Notes R6
  • Remedy (call tracking tool)
  • Internet Explorer
  • MS Office 2000/2003 (proficient, knowledge with all software/spreadsheet/database packages.
  • Windows 2000 / XP OS
